Audio Recording Workshop

This beginning-level audio recording workshop, taught by award-winning recording engineer and WCMS faculty member Scott Janovitz, will give you the tools to take the music you play for yourself, and record it in a medium that you can share with others. You will learn how to record your own music using Garage Band; how to add instruments to create a multiple-track recording; and basic mixing. For ages 13 to adult. Free and open to all. You don’t have to be an accomplished musician, although some musical experience is helpful. If you have a laptop or tablet with Garage Band, this will be helpful but is not required to participate.
