Artist Talk: Arghavan Khosravi

Join artist Arghavan Khosravi for a conversation with Dr. Gannit Ankori, Henry and Lois Foster Director and Chief Curator of the Rose Art Museum, as they discuss the artist’s practice and work.

In conversation with Ankori, Khosravi will explore her subversion of the oppressed Muslim woman through enigmatic works that weave ancient Persian motifs with Surrealist iconography. Drawing inspiration from her experience as a woman living in Iran and a Muslim immigrant to the United States, Khosravi‘s paintings and sculptures provide a powerful voice to the unheard, the unseen, and the forgotten.
