Shelly Eager states: The ordinary . . . This applies not to my work, but to my subject.  I strive to find the beauty in everyday scenes, everyday actions, everyday items. It is through the ordinary that I express the unusual.  I am not drawn to scenes that everyone sees as beautiful and eye catching. I want my viewers to see that, if you look closely at all things, therein lie the colors, expressions and movements that are beautiful, even extraordinary.
