An open poetry mic night for the community.
Poetry – especially during this time of crisis – helps remind us of the diverse voices and visions that shape our communal experience. At this open mic night, hosted by Arlington’s Poet Laureate Steven Ratiner and the Robbins library, hear from local poets or share your own original work. Poets who want to read will be signed up, on a first-come basis, for a 4-5 minute slot, allowing us to feature approximately 15 readers during the 90-minute program. If you have 1-3 poems (depending on size) and you’d like to participate, please send the poems you would like to read as a single attached file to: steven.arlingtonlaureate@gmail.com along with a 1-2 sentence biographical note so Steven can introduce you.
