Amy Grant Haiti Benefit Concert

Amy Grant is a singing and songwriting legend with 22 Dove Awards to her credit that go along with her 6 Grammy Awards.  Amy’s music is timeless and has been the soundtrack to millions throughout the late 1970s, the 1980s and well into the 1990s.  She is known for her incredible Christmas concerts that sellout dozens of shows in Nashville and other major cities throughout the south.  She brings her wonderful talents to Lowell in a special benefit concert that seeks to raise awareness about extreme global poverty and the outstanding work of Natick-based Hope for the Children of Haiti (www.hfchaiti.org).  HFC owns and operates a Children’s Home and K-8 school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, caring for and educating just under 400 students most of whom are under the age of 12.  In the US, HFC is a small volunteer organization who sends 94% of all money raised in the US to Haiti.  They have a paid staff in Haiti of approximately 45 people.
