Ilya Blazh is a drummer and educator from Rostov-on-Don, Russia, who holds a Master’s degree in Performance from Berklee College of Music. He started his musical journey at the Kim Nazaretov Jazz Music School at the age of 5 and since then Ilya has performed at notable fesKvals across Europe, Asia, Middle East, North, Central, and South America; has won 5 internaKonal compeKKons; appeared on more than 20 studio albums; gave clinics at universiKes around the world, including Berklee College of Music; collaborated with George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi, and Danilo Perez; and was a part of Jason Palmer Quintet for two years doing a weekly residency at the historical Wally’s Jazz Club.
