Abilites Dance: Intersections v2

Abilities Dance Boston is doing their 2nd installment of Intersections, a series that highlights BIPOC and disabled artists/activists past and present. Through original choreography/artistic direction by Ellice Patterson and original score by Andrew Choe (who also identify on the intersections of race and disability), they bring the interviewees stories to life with dancers, musicians, and more. In addition, they also relate honorees’ stories to current bills on the Massachusetts state floor in collaboration with Disability Policy Consortium. Join for this two hour event that ensures that none of us at the intersections gets forgotten.

While the show premieres in person April 21st and 22nd, they are committed to offering a virtual option. They are still determining which format is the best for movement and music for pre-recorded vs livestream. For now, they will have one virtual option that will either be the first night livestreamed or the first night recorded and premiered within two weeks of the show date. Thank you for your patience as they figure out the best option for a high quality viewing experience!

Access: There is still a mask mandate to protect high risk company members and audiences. ASL and CART will be provided. Audio descriptions are within the music for all to hear.
