A Midsummer Dream on Merrimack Street 2: Magical and Mysterious Creatures

A free festival that takes place along Lowell’s Merrimack Street and in its downtown parks. More info at www.midsummerlowell.com. Starting at 1:00 pm and lasting until starlight, we’ll have both new and returning activities:

– Kids’ Crafts
– Pixie Marketplace: Local arts, crafts, and other vendors selling fun things for kids and adults
– Fairy (and Troll) Houses: Tiny houses built by the community and hidden along a promenade and in Lowell’s secluded Victorian Garden
– A Minotaur Maze
– Costume Contest
– Special Surprises
– A Performance of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest that leads the players and the audience through multiple parks
– Starlit Dance Party
