90-Second Newbery Film Festival

The 90-Second Newbery Film Festival is an annual video-making project for children and teens that culminates in a series of live screening events held around the country. Each year’s festival begins when young people create 90-second-long videos that offer offbeat condensed versions of Newbery Award-winning books and honor books. The screening combines some of the best of the nationwide entries with a changing menu of locally produced videos. This year’s screening is hosted by award-winning authors James Kennedy and M.T. Anderson. We’ll be showing movies made by kids in the Boston area and some of the best from around the country. An ArtWeek event.
