3artists: Celebrating Autism

Please join us for the opening reception of 3 artists: Celebrating Autism, our 7th annual art exhibition featuring the artwork of professional and emerging autistic artists, including US based professional artist John M. Williams, UK based professional artist Danika Anders, and US based emerging artist Nathan Irving Jean Isaacs. The opening reception, April 13, 5:30-7:30 PM is free and open to the public, and occurs following the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs ABLE Assembly. Refreshments will be served.

The mission of the art show is to reframe disability and autism as a social interpretation of human difference by highlighting the strength, genius and creativity of autism. One of the important themes of the exhibit is how the arts are a mechanism for equal access. In keeping with the mission of the exhibit, we do not collect commission; 100% of proceeds from art sales go directly to the artists.

3artists is a 100% volunteer community initiative, founded by Dr. Elizabeth Stringer Keefe in 2012. It’s organized annually by Dr. Keefe and the exhibit leadership team, including Liam Rutter Stokes, Max Glick, and Vivian Poey.
