The opening night of the Arlington Jazz Festival will feature an opening set featuring vocalist Debbie Lane backed by:

Joe Reid - keyboard,
Dan Fox - bass,
Steve Langone - drums

The main act for the evening will be vocalist Debby Larkin with the same rhythm section plus special guest Jeff Stout on trumpet. Debby is one of the busiest vocalists in the area, performing with her group anywhere from Maine to Rhode Island. The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
