A celebration of experimentation in dance making, Tiny and Short will feature 33 local artists showcasing “tiny dances,” taking place solely on a 4′ x 4′ stage, and “short dances,” limited to 10 minutes or less.
Great things really can come in small packages! This performance series will celebrate experimentation in dance by constricting two of the choreographic dimensions: time and space. In Act One, “Tiny Dances” will take place on a 4′ x 4′ stage and must be under 5 minutes in length, while in Act Two, “Short Dances” will take place in the Julie Ince Thompson Theater and must be under 10 minutes in length.

Upon arrival, each audience member will be given one voting ticket. At the end of the show, the audience will be asked to drop their ticket in the bucket of whichever artist they would like to support. A portion of your ticket revenue will be awarded to whichever artist you vote!
