The Makanda Project Summer Concert

The Makanda Project’s summer concert series on the lawn of First Church in Roxbury concludes on September 10. The free event will be the annual “Makanda’s birthday concert,” as it falls near the 91st anniversary of composer Makanda Ken McIntyre’s birth.  The acclaimed 13-piece ensemble will present a mixture of community favorites and new material.
